CPUOff monitors average CPU load and initiates computer shutdown if the CPU load has been below a specified percentage for a specified length of time. It can be started manually, on start up or automatically via the Windows Task Scheduler. The CPU load and many other parameters can be configured via the configuration screen. It can also be used to shutdown a remote computer. Shutdown has been configured to force all running applications to close. CPUOff is part of the JSutils group of software utilities which have a theme of energy conservation.

CPUOff 4.4 -> Nov 28, 2007 -> Minor Update:
Now correctly removes program Start Up group, no longer supports Quick Launch icon and installs shortcuts for all users. Test inhibited in shutdown mode. Users now need administrator privileges to edit the configuration file.

Added hibernate support to the shutdown options. Moved log file to it's own directory to improve compatibility with Vista. Test button now inhibited in shutdown mode. Opening Config screen from the main program no longer causes lost communications to slave. Other minor bug fixes and improvements.
