The databases are designed to provide a mechanism for organized storage, management and information retrieval. They do this through the use of tables. If you're familiar with spreadsheets Microsoft Excel, you're probably already used to store data in tabular form. This is not much of a stretch to make the leap from spreadsheets to databases. |
